Winter crops

What are you guys growing this winter?

I was thinking to start, coliflower, brocoli, onions, lettuce, chard, turnips, radishes, carrots... help me out here, what else?

My raised beds are kickin ass! I built 5 - 4X8 beds and 2 - 4X4 beds and let me tell yah, its coming along. I can go out and pick a fresh salad. Its great.

Right now the damn hookworms are getting my tomatoes! All I can do it pick em off and kill them...

Does Diatomaceous Earth kill them?

Looks like I should be harvesting some yellow squash soon, and some cucumbers. I can't wait to make pickles!

Re: Winter crops

Not a lot this year. Lotta kale cause we juice it and it is very cold proof. Beets left in the ground for pick as need. Had first frost just yesterday. Pulled remaining eggplant and peppers. Turned most of garden under and covered with mulch. Going all out next year I hope if I can find the time and some resources for adding some space.
Didn't plant much this fall. Was really busy.
Trying some celery- it looks okay, think I waited to long though.
Garlic is in for next spring.

My fall rye is sprouting, the rest is gone for the winter, I wish it was dryer around here (pacific northwest) I like winter wheat better than fall rye.
